Representative Wilson with Donald G. "Don" Stratton, an American hero who survived the sinking of the USS Arizona and Pearl Harbor.  The House welcomed Don Stratton as a special guest on the Floor, and they passed House Joint Resolution 18-1009, which designated the Fillmore Street Bridge as the "Donald 'Don' Stratton Bridge".

Representative Wilson presenting "Eric's Law" (also known as a "Duty to Call 911"). Named after Eric Ashby, this bill would require people to call 911 if they witnessed life threatening situations. The bill had a lot of press coverage from outlets including:
